Zeus documents the various digital download sales that talk him out of his hard earned money.

I just updated to Firefox 33.0 and now the titlebar is transparent (I can see a blurry desktop through it) and there are no more close/maximize/minimize buttons.

Tried restarting Firefox with add-ons disabled and the problem persists.

Using WindowBlinds 8.06 on Windows 7 64-Bit Professional.

Edit: kruglovmaxim has posted a clever temporary fix below.

There is a temporary workaround of it.

You have to enable a window title by  press (Open menu) button / Customize /Press (Title Bar) button.

It will enable correct window title with all buttons. But tabs will still transparent. This also can be fixed by applying any of firefox themes.

Sumatra pdf viewer also has the same problematic skinning with WB.

Wow I have never seen so many people so upset about this. It happens every couple of firefox builds. Neil will fix it if he can in the next up date.

Lets keep in mind this firefox update has only been out for a few days.

Why post at all if you have nothing to contribute? I simply added that it is not only Firefox that is being improperly skinned by WB, but also a pdf viewer called Sumatra. I would think that Stardock would appreciate the feedback so that they know what to fix.

Adobe reader X is the same, won't skin at all. Then there's ITunes and/or several MS products that don't entirely skin. I have aviator excluded as well for some reason.

There is already a thread for compatibility issues. https://forums.wincustomize.com/415220/page/7/#3494007  This thread is for a rather specific , recurring problem with Firefox.

That's exactly what I was getting ready to tell them to do. Create several toolbars or check the "menu bar" that helps also.

Sorry - didn't know about that thread. I have now posted the issue there. Thanks.

If you add a persona background, it will also take care of the transparent tabs.

I use Classic Theme Restorer and I never see any of these problems

on Oct 22, 2014

This problem exists in Chrome browser as well when using the Windowblinds 7 version. Don't know if it has been corrected in the Windowblinds 8 version , but I prefer the 7 version because I actually think it's much easier to navigate and for me it seems to be more stable, so I'm inclined to put up with the inconvenience on that basis.       -- Ace --

Any estimate on when the new version will be released to fix this issue with Firefox?

Thank you.
